We are the change and tomorrow will not look like it is today.
“What I see 25 years from now. women are connected globally through relationships and resources fostered by a formal mentoring network. This is a multi-generational concept that gives women the confidence and support to pursue their dreams. Servant leadership remains the primary goal and looks like a circle of hourglasses symbolizing a pyramid effect similar to a strand of DNA. We are all pearls on a chain.” – Lynda B. Williamson

Our Core Values
Servant
Leadership
Servant leadership is a people-first philosophy and set of practices, that starts with serving others and enriches the lives of individuals, builds better organizations, all by leading by example.
Mentorship
of Others
Mentorship is the guidance provided by a mentor or peer, especially someone who is experienced in their profession or community, who can provide feedback and help emerging leaders.
Professional
Development
Professional Development helps shape our emerging servant leaders to be the best they can be, to serve the way(s) they are equipped, and use the talents they were blessed with.
Self
Awareness
Self-Awareness allows for introspection and the ability to recognize oneself as an individual separate from the environment and other individuals, and how you can best serve or lead.
The LBW Women’s Leadership Academy provided a unique opportunity to meet and connect with other professional women. The Academy’s partnership with the Fanning Institute offered valuable resources and learning material that continue to enhance my career path. This experience has helped open new doors in my career, boosted my confidence, and developed new relationships and new friendships.

Each session of the Women’s Leadership Academy really hit home for me and was so relevant to where I was in my life and in my career. I learned so much about myself, how I work with others and how I manage conflict. What I learned had a lot to do with me taking that step forward.
